The DermaSense ecosystem faced a major bottleneck in the form of financing, prompting our team to explore different avenues to secure funding. As entrepreneurs, we had to come up with innovative business models and participate in various innovation contests to gain visibility and funding.

Every great project starts with a simple idea. For us, it was the question, "Can we provide quantitative results for the skin?" This seed of an idea was planted during a conversation between a professor and a dermatologist, and it quickly took root in our minds.

Service to one's country is both an obligation and an opportunity for personal and professional growth. As a Greek citizen in 2012, I saw it as a chance to turn my obligation into something more. So, I took the exams, underwent a rigorous selection process, and emerged as an officer in the tank warfare branch.
